About MMM

Mobile Ministry Magazine (MMM) is the product of a vision given to one person, but shared by believers who use mobile technology and the Internet and want to see it better used by the Body of Christ to share Jesus with the world and minister more effectively inside and outside of the church building.

It is one part informing about the abilties of current techology. And it is another part teaching responsiblity about mobile technology to those who may need correction in that area. It is one part an infomational resource to those seeking what is happening within the area of technology as it relates to Christians; and another part connecting people with others who wish to use technology in similar ways to better communicate. Mobile Ministry Magazine (MMM) is not an Internet church, but it is being placed as a reference to churches and other groups who wish to be effective online and off.

Began in October 2004 as a PDF-based magazine, Mobile Ministry Magazine has expanded to become a web blog which utilizes associate writers, technology reviews, devotionals, and editorials to create the unique content and forward the vision of MMM (giving a foundation to the use of technology as faith and technology intersect with current and future generations of Christian believers

Our Focus/Relevance

At the end of 2008, there were nearly 4 billion people who owned and used a mobile phone. Each of those people had and continue to be impacted personally by mobile technology. Whether something as simple as an SMS, or as culturally engrossing as music, the 7th mass media - mobile - has firmly planted itself as one of the fastest, most agile, and profitable forces to be recognized in modern times.

The Christian church has always been notable in terms of mass and personal media. Here at Mobile Ministry Magazine (MMM), we ask questions and give answers in the hope that of those 4 billion+ persons who own a mobile device, that the Body can be an accessible, relevant, and Christ-centered answer to sparking innovation and leaving a God-pleasing legacy.

It is our hope that you enjoy the content and commentary here - including our Issues and Special Reports section - and that it enables you to proceed with excitement towards God's Kingdom at work in the earth. Its an active movement, and the light is now green.

You can also connect with MMM, its content, and ministry partners through Jaiku and Twitter.
