How Do You Use Mobile

Piggy-backing a bit on yesterday’s post; what are some of the ways that you use mobile and social technologies? For example, what are some things that you do which you feel are unique, and other activities which might seem common between you and those in your group of friends/family?

  • I am a pastor, married, and a father. I am busy so I carry my phone everywhere. I recently moved to the android os with Verizo MotoDroid and now Droid X. (I also use the iPad for othe needs.) I use facebook, Twitter, update my blog, take lots of photos, email, track to do lists, monitor calendar, contact information, text occasionally, and read with the Kindle app.

    This might be what everyone does but this connected, converged, mobile way of life gives me immense freedom and keeps me up to date. My parishioners in a very short period of time have to come to appreciate my mobility. I pray that God will always be able to use this mobile lifestyle to used for His glory.
