Purposeful PDA Use
I have to admit it, I am one of those people who has to have about two weeks or so with a new PDA before it stops becoming a plaything and becomes something of a tool. And then over time it gets to be that tool more and more, and much less teh showpiece. This isn't a bad thing, and to some degree we all tend to have this happen with anything new/exciting that we own.
It was just really interesting to read over at PDA 24/7 this topic and then it really be put into the correct perspective: it is not that God doesn't want us to have nice things, and even to have fun in getting to know what our devices can do. But when we get to the point where it becomes an obsession/lust to always be tweaking, we end up never getting any work done, and therefore not ever really establishing a purpose in using mobile tech for the reasons we got it for in the beginning.
