Morning, or afternoon, folks. I had not intended on writing something again personal here, but seeing that this is one of those moments, I thought to let a present reflection come out.My thoughts as I sit in the library and read the current issue of Newsweek is if MMM is a success or failure. And if it is a failure, what have I learned. Don't get me wrong, I am about as stubborn as anything when it comes to seeing something thru, I normally have to be really convinced. But ther results of the MMM Contest and then reading this article just have me thinking. if whether I bit off a lot more than I could chew coming out with MMM when and how I did.
Of course, I can say that for those who visit here and read (somewhat) often that MMM could be a success for you. You come and get encouraged, a bit of a tech note, and then you get to go your way. Not really what I had in mind when MMM was started; it is to be a resource, a training series, and a means to equip despite the hurdles of a digital divide. But for some of you, MMM has sparked you in mind of those intentions, and so if stated to me, I am glad that MMM has been a success to you.
What is MMM for me? Really, I am leaning more towards failure (not well enough execultion on my end). I can look back and say that many things could be done better, or at least done. But I don't want to account for what I know now that I didn't know then. I just want you all to know that I plug away at MMM because to me, the success of a world that knows Christ should happen regardless of paper, pens, or PDAs. But no route to seeing/knowing Him should not be followed.
