So you are going overseas but realized that you cannot bring your print Bible with you. What will you do? Sure, you could sneak it in, but that would only be a dangerous game for those whom you minister to. You could use the Internet when you get there to show it to them, but many might not have access to a laptop or desktop computer. So how do you do it? Mobile technology. PDAs and mobile phones are now able to carry the Bible (or many versions plus references) within them. Some phones can even access websites such as BibleGateway. and eBible and use them as Bibles wthout taking up the space. Teaching those whom you minister to about these software services and tools only helps them to use the Bible in a context that will enable them to see Christ, and share Christ with others. Other options for taking the Bible with you include making hymn-based ringtones, creating voice memos or podcasts with your mobile device and then uploading them to a site where it can be downloaded to a mobile phone or PDA easily. Then the Bible is available, and the Word can be preached in more than just spoken word, but by living actions.
