Before email became the primary type of mail for many of us, it was the simple letter in the mail from a friend (usually handwritten) that was a joy to have. Someone really took the time out and compose a message just for YOU. There was very little, and still is very little, that makes one feel like they do when they receive mail.So you can imagine how happy I am when one of my old friends from college sends me a text message out of the blue just praising God and blessing the day that is His. And I know, he probably mass sent the message out to every mobile on his list, but the fact that he sat and heard from God to compose a message that would bless, and then chose me to receive it; that was something thta I can really be blessed by.
It was just a simple note, but it really did make my quiet time at lunch all that more enjoyable because someone thought enough to send me a note and interrupt my day.
I am sure that you might have someone(s) that could benefit from a text message, or even a handwritten snail mail message, out of nowhere. Fire up those fingers and pass a note that the Teacher would be proud of :-)
