I cannot speak for most people, but I have a really tough time considering the use of a GPS within my car. Don't get me wrong, there are times when you get lost that you might want a GPS, but really, I get a heck of a lot fo joy out of using a paper map in the car (at least when I can pull over to the side of the road) and an electronic map before the trip to get a good visual of what is coming to head. This same subject is being discussed at Worship Leader Magazine. The discussion starts off in talking about paper maps versus GPS, but then relates that to the change in technology by the modern church to make services more personal to people.
While a subscription is needed to read the entire article, enough is given in the snippet to get a hold of what the author is saying. Take a read and decide for yourself if you are a paper map user or a GPS user when it comes to your walk with God.
Thanks to BobR for sending this one in.
