The American Booksellers Association is putting its nationwide directory of US independent bookstores on the "mobile map" via Earthcomber's mobile GPS-enabled software for Palm OS and Windows Mobile PDAs and smartphones. No matter where you travel in the US, you can tell Earthcomber to find you a bookstore and it will show you where you are in relation to nearby Book Sense affiliated stores. The bookseller directory is burned into the Earthcomber data layer and is not an additional download. You get it free when you download Earthcomber's free maps and content.

So what does that mean for you? Simple, you can use a travel guide to get a book to relax with while on vacation. Tis a really neat new feature. EC Logo
