Digging For News?

If any of you are like myself, you have realized that you will only visit a few websites a day. Even less so, will one go out and find the news that is of interest to them. There is just too much out there. Well, to (somewhat) feed that need for knowing what is going on in tech, there is an excellent website and service called Digg.com that makes it quite easy to see relevant tech news that is posted around the net. And the best part is that if an article is more popular (because of people digging it), then it is most likely to appear at the top of the pack.

I have gotten out of it lately, but Digg has an excellent RSS feature that makes it easy to see the news. The only problem is that there is a ton of news that can come in at any one time, making it easy to lost one's place on the page.

For you development folks out there, Digg uses the same AJAX foundations as sites such as Google Maps and A9.com's Maps so the interface is quite nice. There is even this "cloud" feature that shows the popular articles darker than the less popular ones.

So if you are in need of knowing what is going on in tech, Digg.com is a great place to go. Not to much on the mobile ministry side though (we shall have to change that right ;-) ). Happy digging.
