Usually, I leave Saturday for a rest day, but I wanted to post and just encourage all of you that are knowledgable with mobile technology, to share the wealth of knowledge and understanding you have. For example, my mother cannot set up her email, let alone a wireless network. But, today I sat with her and showed her how to secure her wireless network. Granted, its a nice Sat afternoon, no need to go into specifics, but I did show her the essentials. Now, she feels safer about her network and being online.
That is part of what I see in mobile ministry. Empowering other Christians to spread the Word. Next step, to collect computers and PDAs and send them to those in the mission field who need those tools (and yes, I am serious about it, just havent come up with a how/when/to plan yet).
