Taking Your Act On the Road
Now, I will also say that there was a study talked about a some time ago that basically said that whether or not you are using a hands-free system, talking on the phone while driving is dangerous. While, I agree with that report in the respect that hearing and talking on the phone is a primary sensory function, and trying to do that and drive (which also is a primary sensory function) at the same time does cause trouble for the other motorists on the road, let alone yourself. The Word encourages us to use wisdom in concert with understanding. If we are going to go hands-free, we should know our limitations in terms of response time and outreach, and then call/not call accordingly.
