Pardon the Interruption
I have, however, had a thought that passed thru some minutes ago. In the mist of reading Joshua, I noticed something in Chapter 3: a call to santification (verse 5). I look that that and wonder how ready we are with our mobile technology to be avid witnesses/servants of the Gospel with our devices. Yes, we have bibles and dictionaries. But are there other games and other things on our devices that would rather take our time and provide mere distraction instead of helping us get to meet our goals.
Now, don't go casting me off. I am not saying the occasional game, or whatever is a bad thing. Just that when that extra item gets in the way of God's intention for our devices; there comes a time that if we want Him to move in a particular area, that we have to santify ourselves, and our devices. It is a standard for sure. But I wonder even now with my PDA and access to the web; is there more that God wants to do with me with these than I can see because I am interrupted by other programs and accessory pieces?
