In Case of Emergency Contact...

In an interesting note of news covered by a ton of outlets today, a concept called ICE (meaning In Case of Emergency) has been brought to light as an efficient means to carry the contact information of a person who is to be contacted if you are seriously injured. More infomation abuot the ICE can be found here.

Personally speaking, I think this a great idea for all of us, no matter if we are carrying PDAs, mobile phones, or even laptops. I make sure to keep a memory key on me that has my personal information (encrypted of course) but there is a text file with my contact info as well as emergency contact information. Now, if you really want to be bold about it, you can also state in your ICE to have the person pray that your family would be in God's peace too, but that is just overstating the fact that to be absent from the body and present with the Lord is what we all want :)
