PalmOne Posts Tungsten T5 Update Version 1.1

PalmOne has posted Version 1.1 of the Tungsten T5 Updater. It addresses the following issues:
New in version 1.1:

* Resolves problems caused when synchronizing large databases and files
* Fixes problems in the Calendar relating to Birthdays or recurring notes
* Fixes an issue with the Find feature and Calculator application
* Provides non-volatile file system improvements

Also included from version 1.0 (released October 2004):

* Fixes a problem in the Calendar that can cause a crash when the default view is changed from Agenda to Month View
* Fixes an issue in Contacts when using the Menu drop down list for new entries
* Adjusts the Palm OS® soft keyboard to prevent system instability in certain situations

I have installed the update and can verify that it does very nice for my T5. I went from 29.2 megs free to 35.4 to give an idea of how much space that one adds. I have also investigated the Find feature and can confirm that it works just fine. Make sure to follow the directions to the tee as if you mess up the ROM then you will end up with a doorstop or paper holder.
